The Gov has just published safety guidelines for the re-opening of Homeless shelters this winter – as rough sleepers face a double whammy of coronavirus and cold weather. They’ve also announced 10 million pounds of additional funding.

But charities are warning that – despite the guidelines – social distancing will be all but impossible in shelters, and warn that the funding doesn’t go far enough.

So what can be done to help homeless people this winter?
