Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

With television shows such as The Vicar of Dibley, Father Ted and, more recently, Tom Hollander’s character in Rev gracing our screens, the clergy have continuously held a place in the imagination of writers and novelists.

North-East vicar Lissa Gibbons has just completed six months of research into the way men and women of the cloth are portrayed and perceived in fiction. She joined John and Esther on Inspirational Breakfast to share her findings.

Lissa is the vicar of St Matthew and St Luke’s Church Darlington, St Michael’s Church Heighington and St Andrew’s Bolam, County Durham.
