The death of the Duke of Edinburgh on Friday has “left a huge void” in the Queen’s life, said members of the Royal Family yesterday as tributes to Prince Phillip continue to be made. The Duke of York also said his mother was “contemplating” and praying privately, and that the family are rallying round.

How should we pray for the Queen and the family at this time? And how does the death of a public figure impact those of us who are already grieving? Louise Morse from Pilgrims Friend Society spoke to Esther Higham about the process of grieving.
