The Right Reverend Paul Bayes is the 8th Bishop of Liverpool, and at his very first service in that role, he preached on how he believes Jesus calls us to join Him at His table.
It was a theme that so touched and encouraged many people, that he’s now expanded that idea in a book simply called “The Table”.
So with that being said, John Pantry and Craig Wakeling of Inspirational Breakfast spoke to Paul last week and began by asking why was it that when Jesus dined with many so-called sinners – religious people were offended!
