Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Last summer over a million Iraqis were forced to leave their homes after ISIS captured several cities in western Iraq, among those fleeing were traditional Christians who, faced with the prospect of a convert-or-die ultimatum, were given just minutes to escape their homes in the Mosul area, on the Nineveh plains.

Many of these displaced families are now living in UN refugee camps, but just as many are also taking shelter in unfinished or abandoned buildings, parks, malls, schools, and churches.

So next month (June 5th 2015) Christians are coming together for an urgent National Day of Prayer for the Middle East. Pastor Jonathan Oloyede joined the Inspirational Breakfast show to talk about the significance of having the National Day of Prayer for the Middle East.
