From a highly paid City oil executive to life on a clerical stipend, we spoke to Rev Dr ANDREW ATHERSTONE who’s just penned the first biography about JUSTIN WELBY called ‘The Road to Canterbury’. So who is the man behind the mitre and why is he seen as such a good prospect for the job, which Rowan Williams recently described as requiring ‘the constitution of an ox and the skin of a rhinoceros’?
