Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Reverend James Treasure discusses with John Pantry and Craig Wakeling how he hopes Top Church Dudley will continue to be a blessing to the local area. Previously this is church building was a place of pilgrimage, prayer and some protest (against the king many moons ago!) and as a memorial to Thomas Beckett. 800 years later they are still going, despite the threat of closure. The building was made fit for purpose and a relaunched congregation now inhabits the old church building.

Top Church family is continuing the legacy of blessing the area in a spiritual way. During the Industrial Revolution the church building provided great physical help to the local area during a cholera outbreak.  A new cistern was installed to the church building which is situated at the top of a hill and so was able to provide clean water amidst the season of disease in the community.

Today at Top Church they are seeking to build a bigger and better community to reflect the invitation in the Bible to fellowship and share life together.
