Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

All this month we’ll be bringing you extraordinary stories from the Great War.

100 years ago the world witnessed the bloodiest and most widespread war in human history.

There can’t be a family listening right now who hadn’t been touched in someway by World War One. One of those families is that of serving soldier Private Curtis Welsby.

His great grandfather carried the New Testament and it has been passed down through the family seeing action in World War 2, the Korean War and now in Afghanistan.
