Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

In Stockton Parish Church in Stockton-on-Tees, the congregation has undergone a huge change.

Five years ago, there were five Iranians attending services. Fast forward to now, and over half of the 260-strong congregation is of Persian background.

So what’s the reason for this remarkable influx?

We spoke to one of the people who attends the church, to find out. Her name is Mahsa – she’s originally from Iran.

She tells us her story – starting with why she came to the UK.
