Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

When you hear the name Evan Roberts – what comes to mind? Well if it’s the Welsh revival of 1904, then you’re spot on.

At the age of 26, Roberts – a miner from Swansea, answered a call to take on an evangelising task of epic proportions – his goal…to save a hundred thousand souls.

Our guest this morning has many accolades to his name including writing songs for Cliff Richard, dueting with Elton John, touring with Art Garfunkel and producing records for Aled Jones!

Swansea born musician, composer and award-winning broadcaster MAL POPE has recently reworked his musical ‘Calon Lan’ about the Welsh revival of 1904.  MAL is also the voice behind the popular Fireman Sam Theme Tune and he joined Craig Wakeling on Inspirational Breakfast
