What do you do when someone questions your faith? Do you answer confidently or do you squirm inside, unsure how to answer? Well if you’re in the latter camp – listen up, as you probably in need of a dose of apologetics. Apologetics sounds as if it means ‘apologising’ for one’s faith. The word, however, derives its meaning from the Greek ‘apologia’, meaning a ‘reasoned defence’. And later this month there’s a conference for young people to attend – to help equip them with some of life’s more pertinent questions that are often thrown at Christians.
