With the recent U-turn by the Government to ban so-called conversion therapy for gay or bisexual people, but not transgender people in England and Wales, has often courted much-heated debate- especially within the Christian community. According to NHS England, conversion therapy attempts to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity. The Government’s second U-turn ban will not cover gender identity.
