When the coronavirus began in china, HJ Colston- Inge (mandarin speaker, businesswoman and wife of the Bishop of Worcester) was in touch with a great friend based in Shangai, who worked in pharmaceuticals who asked how he could support our health care workers here in Worcestershire..
So began a conversation with the local hospital about the needs of the local NHS workers, and following since both HJ and the Worcestershire’s branch of the Mother’s Union have raised over £6,000 for food parcels to be given to NHS staff and adjusted over 100 hospital scrubs and masks to help protect those on the frontline.
