Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

For any parent or guardian caring for a young person with challenges beyond their individual abilities – it can be frustrating and draining to watch them wait endlessly for the professional mental health services they need.

Many carers can find themselves in desperate need of support, but feelings of guilt and the already overwhelmed state of healthcare services means –  these needs are either overlooked or go unnoticed.

Agape Parent Support, is a group offering interim support for parents and carers  as they look after their children who are also struggling with mental health.

Ali Jeffries is one of three founding trustees of the group which is based in West Hallam Derbyshire and she spoke to John Pantry on Inspirational Breakfast!
