The Bishop of London has a lot of titles – she’s the Rt Hon and Rt Revd Dame Sarah Mullally DBE. Before she was ordained, she was a nurse, becoming the youngest chief nursing officer for England in 1994 – a position she left to pursue full time ministry in 2004. So it’s little wonder she has been heading up the Church of England’s response to Coronavirus. She’s been speaking to Esther Higham about how she was tempted to join the vaccination effort, what she knows about Love Island and what’s challenged her during lockdown.
