Do you sometimes feel powerless about issues like gang violence and knife crime?
Knife crime has risen over 70% since 2015 in England and Wales, with the victims often young teenagers – a 14 year old boy was killed in Birmingham last month (May) – one of a spate of knife deaths in the city, alongside those in Liverpool, Sheffield and Manchester.
As a response, we’re being encouraged to pray in earnest for our communities – including a special online event tonight to pray into knife crime and gangs, hosted by Neighbourhood Prayer Network and Redeeming our communities.
