Born in 1935 in Berlin. Ruth’s Father a lawyer but also a Jew and her Mother, German, was his secretary. Ruth was 4 yo when she came to the UK with her brother Martin on the Kinder Transport. From 6-8yo was sent to a Quaker boarding school that she really enjoyed in Essex. Ruth is now 84 yo and regularly speaks on the Holocaust.

The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was the World War II genocide of the European Jews.
