Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Throughout history sport has played a significant role – teaching diligence, teamwork, the importance of humility when successful, and resilience when challenged.

Following England’s victory in the men’s Cricket World Cup a few weeks ago, record crowds watched England win the bronze trophy in the women’s netball World Cup over the weekend.

There are hundreds of chaplains in the UK, providing spiritual and pastoral care to professional and amateur sport.

HELEN LEWIS is chaplain to the Wales senior netball team and the Celtic Dragons Superleague netball team and she spoke about serving in sport.
