Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Have you ever come out of the cinema and been affected by what you’ve heard or seen?

Well you could soon see a ‘cinema pastor’ at a film house near you.

A call’s gone out from a Christian film distributor for people to become ‘cinema pastors’ and hold 10 minutes of prayers in some of the country’s leading cinema complexes – which have agreed to screen Christian films. Kingdom Cinemas was founded by the Rev George Hargreaves – who wrote Sinitta’s 80s hit ” So Macho” before becoming a Pentecostal pastor.

He started to distribute Christian films last year, and says they can pull in huge audiences – which the multiplexes love.

They’ve got agreement from Cineworld and Odeon among others, to show their releases in the next few months.

George Hargreaves, founder of Kingdom Cinemas talks about a new initiative, due to hit cinemas across the UK.
