Syria has its Presidential elections today, with the country voting on whether they want to keep Bashar al-Assad in power. He has been the leader for 21 years and it is expected that the election will go his way again.
Some see the election as a ‘sham’ but he is popular among Christians in the country. Ibrahim, who is a Open Doors’ local partner based in Aleppo, in Syria, spoke to Premier’s Esther Higham to explain why.
