Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham
Life for all of us has been different this year, but for the 90,000 inmates of our prisons its been even more challenging.
Fear of prison-wide infections of coronavirus meant that most of the additional services like education and voluntary activities were stopped, meaning that many prisoners were facing 23 hours a day in their cells.
One innovative prison project has found a way to carry on with a creative project inside HMP Shotts in Scotland, to celebrate Prisons Week in Scotland.
Dorothy Russell, the prison chaplain at HMP Shotts, and Sam Rowe from Bethany Christian Trust, shared details about their project with Premier’s Esther Higham.
