While he couldn’t help the decline in physical health, Terry said being a Christian was paramount to his psychological spiritual wellbeing he said “faith enables you to have the strength to face what comes, we live in a world that is full of suffering”.

When asked why God let this happen to him, he said “I don’t believe for one moment that if you have faith that gives you in anyway an unfair advantage to be protected from the everyday ups and downs of life…”
