The Winter Olympics is getting underway today in Beijing, but the decision to allow China to stage the event has divided opinion around the world. Several countries, including the UK and the US have refused to send diplomats because of China’s record on human rights.
Around 3 billion people are set to be watching and the Christian charity Release International says that means there are 3 billion opportunities to speak out against China’s persecution of Christians and other religious minorities.
