Since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, some Christians have been calling for a national day of prayer in order that, together, Christians can raise their voices to God, and call on Him, plead with Him to move and work in a new way in our Nation. These calls seem largely to have gone unheeded – until today (Friday 22 January) when ‘A Day of Prayer for our Needy Nation’ has been initiated, with the publicity saying ‘Just imagine one million Christians praying for our nation on the same day’.
One of the people behind this initiative is David Hathaway. He spoke to Premier’s Michael Fanstone about what he perceives the state of the nation is to be.
Faith Hope and Love Mark Fleming was an atheist growing up – his parents even warned him off getting involved with religion, but in an act of rebellion he attended a church. He shared his story with Premier’s Maria Rodrigues. Mark’s book is called ‘Confessions of a Football Chaplain’.
