Whatever some people may say or think, racism is not dead, and for many Christians in the UK it is something that they confront on a regular basis. One group that is attempting to combat racism, mainly by the use of social media, is Unique and United, and they’re working hard to develop a specific resource that will help to empower Christians to learn, pray and act in ways that will help to bond our churches and society closer together.

Nigel Cowgill is one of the District Chairs for London Methodists, but never in a million years would he have expected to be at that level of church leadership, and I think, even after a good many years in post, he’s still a bit surprised to find himself there!
