Noel Tredinnick, former conductor of the All Souls Choir and Orchestra, takes you on journey through the hymns which have marked special occasions including HRM’s coronation, wedding and other special events.

Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham Sue Snowdon looks back over Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years of service to the people of the UK and the Commonwealth. She reflects on the Queen’s strong Christian faith that has sustained her throughout her reign and introduces some music and prayers to help celebrate this unique moment in history.

1700                 The Private Faith behind a Public Life

‘The fact that the Queen has a Christian faith is widely known yet, as she celebrates her Platinum Jubilee, very little will be said about something that is so important to her. In this revealing and inspiring discussion, Premier’s Worship at Home presenter Simon Ward and Mission Champion at the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, Mark Greene discuss how the Queen’s Christian faith has guided and strengthened her through the ups and downs of 70 years as Monarch and head of the Commonwealth and, importantly, what we can all learn from her Christ focussed life.
