Some people believe that Christians get married to prevent themselves falling into sexual sin. But is that a good enough reason to tie the knot nowadays? It's a tough question to answer. The purpose of this article is to explore this question against the backdrop of today’s culture and the Bible.
I gave a testimony at a Christian retreat this summer where I got to talk about my experiences sharing the Gospel on my local high street. The event organiser decided to title the talk, 'Extraordinarily Ordinary'.
Back in 2012, I had a memorable conversation with a young man called “John.” My friend and I were walking at the top of Bromley high street one night, when a group of three crossed our path. John and I made eye contact. We smiled and acknowledged one another from a distance. I still don’t know why.
